Dr. Raphael is a graduate of the University of Ilorin where he earned his MBBS degree. He finished his residency training at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State.

He qualified as a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians in Endocrine, Diabetes and Metabolism subspecialty. He holds a certification in Leadership and Management in Health from the University of Washington, USA.

He is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals.
