Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria
In furtherance of our commitment to foster the growth of healthcare talents, we attained full accreditation for the commencement of internship training for licensed Radiographers as well as practical attachment training for undergraduate students of Radiography at accredited tertiary institutions.
The confirmation was conveyed in a letter signed by Ogechukwu Obinna, Head, Inspection & Monitoring, at the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria, on behalf of Prof. Mark Okeji, Registrar / Chief Executive, following a rigorous accreditation exercise conducted at our facilities in Lagos.
This collaboration between a regulatory body of healthcare professionals and a private healthcare group re-emphasizes the need for continuous collaboration among stakeholders in transforming the Nigerian healthcare system for the benefit of healthcare workers who seek professional development and patients who seek qualitative care.
The beneficiaries of this training programme will complete entrance examinations and interviews before proceeding to their departmental rotations, where they will learn to identify and co-manage a broad range of disease conditions using the most advanced diagnostic and imaging tools. They will also benefit from the multi-disciplinary approach to care and the various technology tools used by in-house experts at Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals.
