Dr. Ekido is a highly qualified and experienced medical professional with a deep focus on Endocrinology.  Her journey in the field of medicine began with a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Benin, culminating in her recognition as a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP) in Endocrinology in November 2017.

Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated expertise in the field of endocrinology and upheld a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Her previous roles as a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist at Rainbow Specialist Medical Centre and as a Senior Registrar at Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH) in Oghara, Delta State, has enriched her clinical knowledge and contributed significantly to patient care. She also previously served as a Senior Registrar (Supernumerary) at the prestigious University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan.

Dr. Ekido is an active member of professional organizations such as the Endocrine and Metabolism Society of Nigeria (EMSON); Diabetes Association of Nigeria (DAN); Association of Clinical Endocrinologists Nigeria (ACE); and the Medical Women Association of Nigeria (MWAN), where she served as the Past Treasurer for the MWAN Edo State Chapter.

She is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals.
