Dr. Okere obtained his first degree at College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and completed his residency training at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Lagos.

He is a qualified Fellow of the Medical College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the National Medical College of Nigeria.

He is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals.
