Dr. Alao obtained his first degree from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Oyo State, and completed his residency program at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.

He is a qualified Fellow of the West African College of Physicians and a Member of the Society of Family Physicians of Nigeria (SOFPON). He also holds a certification in Leadership and Management in Health from the University of Washington, USA.

He was awarded as the Best Senior Registrar in the Department of Family Medicine in 2019 and currently serves as the Consultant Family Physician at Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals.
