Dr Akinfemi Akingboye

Mr Akinfemi Akingboye is a Consultant Robotic, Laparoscopic Colorectal and General Surgeon at Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals. He is also a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Scholar, a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Aston Medical School, Birmingham, and an Associate Professor of Surgery at St George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada.

He earned his MBBS from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Queen Mary University of London, reflecting a strong academic and research foundation.

With extensive expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, Mr Akingboye is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. His practice combines advanced surgical technology with active involvement in research and surgical training, ensuring patients benefit from modern techniques and continually improving standards.

He is also the Founder of The TOSOL Impact Initiative, a non-governmental organization dedicated to providing free healthcare services to underserved communities across Africa.
